And is taking bloom! Last night this is the conversation that Evan and Josh had:
"Daddy, what day is it tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow is Sunday."
"Ah, nuts!!!," Evan exclaimed. "I was going to fix the mailbox, but it's the Day of Rest (Sabbath)!"
You see, night before last vandals went through our neighborhood and randomly bashed in mailboxes (we have regular mailboxes, not lock and key cluster boxes). Evan was very upset about it and wanted to fix the mailbox. The fact that when Josh said it was going to be Sunday, and Evan remembered that Sunday is the Lord's Day, meant a lot to the both of us. It means that a seed has been planted, and is blooming! Hallelujah!
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. Deuteronomy 6:7-9 (KJV)
